Dr. Christina Melief is a distinguished figure in the field of genetics and cellular therapy. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the National Cord Blood Network (NCBN).
Dr. Melief's career is marked by her dedication to advancing cord blood transplant and cord blood-derived therapies. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cord Blood Association (CBA) Foundation and volunteers her time toward public education initiatives through CBA and in partnership with Bloodworks Northwest.
Prior to serving as Executive Director, she held the position of Scientific Strategist for NCBN as well as Senior Scientific Advisor for Customer Ready Products at NMDP and Business Development Manager for Bloodworks Bio at Bloodworks Northwest. When she is not working, you can find her volunteering with Scouting America and Bear Metal Robotics, gardening, fishing, or hiking around the Pacific Northwest with her two children.
